nurturing the future of others - inspirational speech in english for education students

Four days left before the 1st semester ends, but before we enjoy that wonderful sembreak, I know that some of us are still in doubt whether we will continue this course or not.
A Buddhist proverb said,"If a seed of a lettuce will not grow, we do not blame the lettuce. Instead, the fault lies with us for not having nourished the seed properly."
Let us say that the lettuces are the students and we lets say are the farmers. If the farmers after four months quit taking care of the lettuces then all of the plants will die and if all the lettuces died then what will the people eat? The people will not blame the lettuce for not growing up, but they will blame the farmers that quitted taking care of the lettuce. In other words, if most of us will stop studying education then who will teach the future students and if no one will educate them, who will then continue bringing the light to lighten the dark world that is full of ignorance and misconception. The people may blame the children but when we take a closer look, it is the quitters that must be blamed because they did not even tried being an educator. If we will stop now then we will lose the chance of inspiring and educating other people.  Being a teacher is a very noble deed because we will all have the chance to change, correct, and influence other people’s lives.
If other people said that, we will not become rich or being a teacher will not offer us many opportunities, we must realize at some point that they are wrong. If we will all continue studying until we graduate with doctorate degree, then it will offer us a fortune and when it come to job opportunities, do you think the Department of Education will ever close down? Moreover, being a teacher is not about being rich in money, it is about being rich with students that will thank us for making their lives successful. It’s about the students that will never forget us because we’ve made a great difference in their lives. If we will stop now, then we will never continue enjoying the corniest jokes of our classmates. Girls, if we will transfer to other schools then we will not able to continue our sight seeing. If all of us stopped then there will be no audience in every program because as we all know we are the best audience. To my friends, if you will shift to other course then we will not be complete in eating in San Marcelino or singing in Quantum.
From now on, I want all of us to be just like Mrs. Puff because of her persistence. If Mrs. Puff didn’t become a teacher then who will teach Spongebob? Mrs. Puff didn’t give up even though Spongebob is “unteachable”, she has the guts to teach Spongebob. We must continue this course because students of the future depends their own future on us. We must all consider that how noble a person may be, there’s always a teacher behind them that once inspires them to become great.

Summary:
The story happened during the Filipino’s resistance against the Japanese. The story is about three people who are best friends since they were all just kids. Inya and Edilberto became lovers and even though Ignacio loves Edilberto, he just supported his best friend Inya. When the Japanese came, their commander Ichiru saw Ignacio dressed as a girl and fell in loved with him. Edilberto convinced Ignacio to go with Ichiru and be a spy so that he can help the guerilla movement. Ignacio agreed because of his love for Edilberto. As the story goes on, Ignacio is slowly falling in love with Ichiru and he does not want to betray his love nor his country so this created conflicts especially when Edilberto’s parents were killed, because of this Edilberto is now full of hatred and he wants to have vengeance. This situation made Edilberto cold to his relationship with Inya and warned Inya not to see Ignacio again but Inya did not follow Edlberto’s order.
In a battle, Edilberto died making Inya persistent in fighting for our country and she is now dubbed as Kapitan Berto, while Ignacio is still having a relationship with Ichiru making the people think that he betrayed the country. The story continued and Ichiru killed himself because he betrayed his country and Ignacio was arrested by the Japanese.  The Japanese tortured Ignacio because he did not tell who Kapitan Berto is. In the end, Inya tried to save Ignacio but the latter died because he protected Inya from the bullets the Japanese shoots to her.

Reaction:
The movie is very interesting to watch because the effects, the scenes, and costumes really showed the Japanese period. The transition of the story is also clear and nicely done. The actors also showed a great job and Dennis Trilllo did a great job portraying a gay. The story is also close to reality and many Filipinos can relate to the story. The love story of Ignacio and Ichiru gave the movie some highlights and made the viewers more interested to the movie. The movie also showed how vengeance made the cast’s life more complicated and it showed why the characters are in that state especially the role of Mon Confiado portraying a lunatic. The message of the story is also clearly expressed that every individual has the freedom to choose and at the same time can love his country, his family, and even his career all at the same time. This movie showed unconditional love to the country, friends, and even the country’s enemy even during the war.
